NICMAR CSRD had organised a virtual round table discussion on 'Future of Facilities Management Education in India' on 8th March 2022 from 04.30 to 05.30 p.m.

The objectives of this round table discussion were as follows:
1. Identify current skill sets necessary to work in the domain of Facilities Management
2. Identify the future trends in Facilities Management.
3. Role of Academic Institutes in providing skilled resources in Facilities Management

Proceedings

The welcome note was presented by Director General NICMAR, Dr. Anil Kashyap who set the tone for the event. The three invited speakers shared their experiences in Facilities Management and gave comprehensive answers to the questions discussed during the event. Dr. Rahul Deshpande (Dy. Dean, SOPRIM NICMAR) thanked all the invited speakers for giving their valuable time and offering interesting insights on Facilities Management. The event received a good response, and the discussions during this round table educated the participants and provided a meaningful direction towards nurturing quality education in facilities management.
