NICMAR University, Pune was established after NICMAR University, Pune, Act. (L. C. Bill No. Of 2022) was passed by Maharashtra State Government, on 16th March, 2022 and appeared in “Maharashtra Government Gazette”, on the 12th May 2022 (Mah. Act No. XXXVI of 2022) for the development and advancement of higher education in the State of Maharashtra.
Message from Vice Chancellor
The National Institute of Construction Management and Research (NICMAR), has been constituted as a non profit organization with the express objective of engaging in activities for the promotion of training, research, professionalism and skill formation at all levels of the construction and other allied industries. Besides that, NICMAR’s objectives include undertaking special projects, collaboration with other organizations, dissemination of knowledge through seminars / conferences, etc; publishing literature, undertaking consultancy and taking necessary actions conducive to fulfillment of the objectives of the Society. Under the Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950, NICMAR was registered as a Public Trust in 1982. The NICMAR Society was constituted in 1984 and registered under the Societies’ Registration Act, 1860.
