The objective of the School of General Management (SOGM) is to share the concepts, tools, techniques and perspectives of General Management with the students of NICMAR post graduate programmes as well as the participants of the training programmes. SOGM houses 103 courses taught across all the programmes by 28 full-time faculty members and 3 adjunct-faculty members, thus making SOGM the biggest school in NICMAR. Majority of the faculty members come with rich industry experience and are thus able to provide academic as well as practical insights to the students making teaching-learning more meaningful. The faculty typically use classroom discussions, case analysis and role play as pedagogical tools to make teaching-learning effective and enjoyable. Over 70% of the faculty members hold Ph.D. degree and some others are pursuing their Ph.D. from recognized universities.
