The first initiative of Upakram@NICMAR is IDEATHON 2.0, a B-Plan event for all NICMAR students across the 4 campuses, organised in association with AGNI (Association of Global NICMARIANS) and convened by the Student Council 2021-2022. This is in continuation of the successful IDEATHON 1.0, organised by NICMAR startup club and AGNI, which saw participation of 44 teams, out of which two teams have successfully converted their ideas into business ventures.
IDEATHON 2.0 aims to foster the spirit of entrepreneurship and business acumen among all students of NICMAR and fast-track the journey from an innovative idea to a commercial success. The event prides itself on providing a 360 degree, holistic experience in the three months period that it spans. Right from acknowledging that your idea has a potential, to drafting a B-Model and pitching in front of an esteemed panel of entrepreneurs, this platform has it all!
Innovation and entrepreneurship are the wheels that steer the world into a brighter future. Great ideas result in great undertakings which pave the way for glaring success. To facilitate this vision, IDEATHON 2.0 provides a platform for potential ideas and early-stage startups to evaluate their plan in the risk-free environment of a competition. It aims to bridge the gap between ideas and the realization of an enterprise.
The IDEATHON 2.0 was launched by Prof. (Dr.) Anil Kashyap, Director General NICMAR on 17th December 2021, in presence of faculty, alumni, and current students. The registrations are now open. Get yourself Registered fast!
