About
School of Project Management (SPM) is established in the year 2022 with a mandate to research and develop new knowledge as well as extend the horizons of extant knowledge in the field of Project Management. SPM has its dedicated faculty which does research and teaches students, train practicing managers and also consult with the industry. As an early initiative SPM has launched its MBA in Advanced Project Management programme of NICMAR University, Pune.

To provide world-class specialized project management education and develop personnel to manage complex projects in sectors such as oil & gas, software, rural, education, healthcare, energy, manufacturing and construction.

Teaching Pedagogy
We believe in developing conceptually sound and industry-ready project managers. It is our endeavor to intertwine deep industry insights with classroom teaching. In view of this, the faculty in the school follows a pedagogy that includes classroom teaching, case discussions, site visits, industry interactions and project-based learning. It also includes project work in the III and IV semesters which is graded by the faculty as part of course curriculum.
Programmes Offered
SPM currently offers two-year full-time MBA in Advanced Project Management programme. Its intake is 60 students who have completed their graduation in stream i.e. engineering, architecture, planning, commerce, science, pharmacy, arts, agriculture to name a few.
Faculty
The school has a team of dedicated full-time faculty who have a Ph D degree from prestigious universities in India. A few faculty members are pursuing their Ph D programme from well-known national institutes in India. The School augments its full-time faculty by visiting faculty who have rich industry experience. Thus, the school provides strong theoretical foundations along with live real-life industry inputs.
